Courageous: how every man should be

I have been meaning to watch this movie since I watched the trailer last year. Last night, I downloaded it and watched it immediately this morning. Now this movie, have once again struck my heart - just as Facing the Giants and Fireproof did.

Just yesterday, I found myself frustrated with all the young men around me who are indeed good looking, but lack Godly character. It even gave me a burden that led me to just cry it all out to God. And then I watched this movie (click here for the plot), and God revealed to me that He is in the move. He is raising up a new breed, a generation of Godly and honorable men - and it takes a father-image to do it.

Right after I watched the movie, I can't help but pray for Christian guy friends, and Christian men that I know that they will grow up to be father's who would know how to love, honor and respect his wife and his children.

I cried a lot when I was watching this. maybe because this guys helped me realize that I deserve a courage man. And he is not just a character of this movie but he is real. And one thing I am sure of right now, is that he is being molded and prepared for by a courageous spiritual or biological father :)

This movie also reminded me of the preaching series we had in our church before : Blueprint. It tells of God's special design and calling for every man out there.

You see, being a man is not just about the chromosome. Being a man comes with a responsibility and a challenge. So I pray and hope, that every man out there will answer to that divine call of their manhood.
