this is the story of a girl who had a great time with her God

Yesterday, after my class, something in me just wanted to sit down and immense in the presence of God. The weather was cool, like literally cool. I really love it when there's breeze or wind cause that's an assurance for me that God is with me :) -- it's a prayer I prayed before that He would reveal Himself to me and then a sudden breeze swept across my room and I was just having goosebumps.

And so I sat down at the freedom park - most people were playing ultimate, some jogging around the park, I can see volunteers running in and out of the DL Umali Hall for collide... in the midst of life busyness, God called me to focus on Him.

I meditated on Nehemiah 9. I've been reading Nehemiah for the past days because I wanted to be reminded of God's 'rebuilding' of his people, of His faithfulness, of His love, of His sovereignty, and of His goodness.

And so Yesterday, I arrived chapter nine - the walls are built, oppositions are held back and they were just worshiping and confessing their sins to the Lord and its amazing how an A.D. event made such impact to me even today :)

He is a God who does not change. He is still faithful, He is still loving, He is still sovereign, He is still good. What He is today is exactly who He was yesterday :)
