the winning of my mom is not really a surprise for me, i mean, she's good and she's always on the top and i know she deserves it. what surprised me is the intelligent, and by intelligent i really mean INTELLIGENT and dignified and respected people specializing in Agricultural Economics. i really didn't know what to feel when undersecretary serrano was delivering his speech. hindi ko alam kung nanliliit ako or magiging pround ako kasi AgEcon siya, but why??? and how??? ang galing galing niya (nila)!! nakakaintimidate. waaaah!!
i suddenly had a flash forward about my future. what will it be like? will i be successful like this great agricultural economists? will i be able to speak in front of equally intelligent people and speak with confidence and grace because i know what i am talking about?
the future is a scary thing. lots of what if's and uncertainty. and sometimes all you got to do is pray and believe that God is going to bring you somewhere, greater than what you are thinking right now.
